Hello, and welcome.

 

My name is Lucas Youngblood, and this is my first year teaching in Humboldt County. I have worked in Humboldt County schools for the past four years as a substitute teacher and as a Behavior Support Specialist for the county. I am thrilled to be working at MMS this year - it really is the best school in Humboldt County.

 

I am from originally from Calaveras County (a rural county 50 miles east of Stockton) but have called Humboldt County home for the last 10 years. My wife and I have a two-year-old son who we love dearly. We enjoy spending time together, reading, and being outside. 

 

I believe that my student's families are their most important teachers and I am dedicated to supporting you in your efforts to teach and care for your children. I am here to teach your children, but also equally prepared to serve you in whatever way I can. Please contact me often with your thoughts and concerns. As our partnership is strengthened, my ability to meaningfully teach your children will increase dramatically.
